Last week, Muzo Emerald Colombia traveled to Nantucket for a special Emerald Education event at The Westmoor Club, in collaboration with Katherine Jetter, owner of jewel box boutique, The Vault. Guests mingled over champagne and tried on gorgeous Muzo emerald jewelry - both designer collaboration pieces from the likes of Loren Nicole, Robinson Pelham and Silvia Furmanovich, and a selection from our signature collections: Heritage and Nova - before listening to a panel discussion all about Colombian emeralds.
The presentation, which delved into the history, legacy and science behind Muzo Colombian emeralds, was led by our very own Gabriella Harvey, Head of Business Development, and Katherine Jetter, colored gemstone expert and certified gemologist; and moderated by local Nantucket style expert and radio host, Holly Ruth Finigan. Later, the attendees enjoyed a three-course lunch of Vegan Gazpacho and Lobster and Crab Salad, and finished off a gorgeous afternoon with their very own box of 'emeralds' - custom, gemstone-shaped cookies.
